We’re building the “training ground” for the Farm Robotics Challenge and will launch programs aimed at secondary school students for the 2025/26 academic year.

The primary objective of the Academy is to equip both educators and students with knowledge and skills in cutting-edge technologies that are reshaping the agricultural landscape. Leading students on a pathway to success in their educational and career endeavors.

The Academy will offer:

  • AI Institute for Next Generation Food Systems (AIFS) AgTech + Drone Curriculum - ready for use in your high school. Curriculum is flexible, teach a unit, a quarter, or a full semester.

  • Farm Robotics Challenge competition at the secondary school level. Bring together students in your class or club to tackle a real-world ag problem using AI, robotics and automation and submit your project to the challenge to win prizes and recognition.

  • Workshops and experiential field days for hands-on learning. One-off events designed to inspire curiosity and exposure to the latest developments in AgTech.

If you’re a high school teacher or leader in organizations like FFA, 4-H, Grange, or other youth serving institution and have a passion for technology and project based work, we’d love to connect with you.

The Academy provides youth with a link to a community of innovators via the Farm Robotics Challenge. This community extends from their local area to the international stage, providing opportunities for peer mentorship and the potential for interested students to join college level teams in their regions.
